Cottonwood Triangular is a small unnotched triangular arrow-point type. Great Basin National Park’s Winter 2011/2012 newsletter identifies its Figure 2 example as Cottonwood triangular, used on lightweight arrows, and gives a regional type-use interval of 150–1,000 years ago. The source interval is retained without calendar conversion; it is not a direct date for the photographed specimen or a universal California–Great Basin chronology.
